How to use Directory Binder in Lucky Patcher ?

Today, I'm going to tell you about running heavy games on some high-end Android devices that has low storage capacity. Specially for Canvas XL2 users but other users can also use this method. Its safe and reliable. :)

Requirements!
  • Lucky Patcher (Download)
  • Some basic knowledge of Android OS
  • Minimum 4th Class Memory Card
  • Root access
  • Downloaded heavy games and its data :P

So, first of all download Lucky Patcher from the above link, install and launch it. If it asks to install busybox then download and install busybox from Play Store.

Now, open Lucky Patcher and click on "Toolbox" from bottom bar options menu, and click on "Directory Binder".

Now in Directory Binder menu, click on " Add New Directory Bind!".

Now, a popup will appear signifying the location of "Android" folder in two different sdcards, first must be the external one and second must be the internal one. Different devices have different naming of sdcards like some has "extsdcard" or some has "sdcard2" or some has just "sdcard". So its upto the user that he will find which one is External and which one is Internal.

And now click on first text field, or just click on "Browse" and user's Android Phone's Root directory will be shown, click "/mnt"

Now click on "/sdcard", it must be external sdcard i.e. memory card. If the user don't know which one is external sdcard, he can try to open any of the two sdcard folders, and by looking at the folders and files he can able to mark out or recognize the external and internal sdcard.

Now click on "/Android" folder of external sdcard and click on "Select Current Directory"

Now, open the second text field or click on "Browse" and then open "/mnt" and the select "/sdcard1" and as in the first step, it must be the internal sdcard and the user can open any of the two sdcard folders to recognize which one is internal one and the select "/Android" folder of internal sdcard and the select "Select Current Directory" and now done.

Now select "Bind Directory" and then to check whether its successful or not, the user can open the Android folders of both sdcards and check the data, all the fron external sdcard must be shown in internal sdcard too, doesn't matter if its game's obb data or cache data or any other folders. Both Android folders must have same files or same look with same size :P

Note!

  • User can choose particular folder too to bind the two individual directory.
  • If user want to store the data in external sdcard then in directory bind popup, the first text field sould contain location of folder of extarnal sdcard and second one must contain internal sdcard's location
  • Its the safest method and will never cause any problem in future.
  • Take backup of your internal Android folder first because after binding all the files of extarnal sdcard's Android folder will be shown in internal one and that process will immediately overwrite the internal sdcard's Android folder files.
  • User must know the details about locations, which folder bind, taking backup of folders etc

The above method is very confusing and I admit that I haven't provided the perfect details, so at any point if user found any problem he can ask me in the comments without any hesitation

Thanks to Chelpus for his amazing app
